A small crowded chawl somewhere in the heart of Pune city. Managed by a stern landlady, it houses among others, an old man, who has no family and is on the verge of becoming senile. Caught in a time warp, he is slowly losing touch with reality. He is alone and everyone around him seems to have had enough of him. As time stops for him, for the rest of them, life goes on.
